Candles
Before lighting
Remove packaging and decorations not intended for burning. Place the candle on a stable, non-combustible surface away from curtains, paper and other flammable items.
Wick
Let the wax cool before relighting. Trim the wick as instructed and remove trimmings. A general guide for a wooden wick is about 3–5 mm; ask the workshop about other wick types.
While burning
Never leave a candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets and draughts. Do not move a hot holder. Extinguish and cool it if it smokes heavily or the flame is too high. Do not use water. The recommended burning session is no longer than one hour.
Wax melts
Without heating
Place melts in a fabric bag in a wardrobe or drawer, avoiding direct contact between wax and clothing.
In a wax warmer
Use only a device designed for wax melts. Remove packaging and the bag, and place a small piece in the clean, dry dish without overfilling. Follow the device instructions. Do not add water or ignite the wax itself.
After use and storage
Switch off the warmer or extinguish the tea light. Let the wax and dish cool before moving or cleaning. Replace the wax when its fragrance fades. Never pour wax down a drain. Store away from sunlight and heat.
Fragrance duration
This depends on the composition, amount of wax and heating conditions. Unheated scent duration is not the same as use time in a warmer.
Sachet in a bag
How to use
Remove the fabric bag from its sealed packaging and hang it in the chosen place. Keep the bag closed when using it as a sachet. Gently knead it every 1–2 weeks. Protect from sunlight and heat.
Reusing the filling
After the scent fades, Decorika sachet filling can be reused as a loose-fill candle. First ask the workshop to confirm a compatible wick, heat-resistant candle container and the required amount. Transfer only the filling, without fabric or packaging.
When used as a candle
Place the container on a stable, non-combustible surface away from flammable objects, children and pets. Never leave the flame unattended or move the hot container. Never burn the fabric bag.
Car fragrance
Activation
Unscrew the wooden lid, remove the inner protective stopper, then screw the wooden lid back on securely.
Positioning
Secure the bottle upright where it does not obstruct your view or driving. Avoid direct sunlight and overheating.
Handling the liquid
Avoid spills and contact with upholstery, plastic or other surfaces. If spilled, blot immediately and clean according to the surface’s care instructions. Keep away from children and pets.
Plaster décor
Care
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not soak or put in a dishwasher.
